Let's Go, Watch Penguins

Watching Penguins is greatly exhilarating. Touring through Australia is quite rewarding in this regard, where penguins can be seen from close proximity. This lovable bird with glossy body shine, flip flopping its

 wings  is a feast to bird watchers.

Among several existing penguin species, smallest is the, 'Adelie', hardly 33 cm in height, looks like a toddler and very social by nature.

King penguins with bright yellow neckline dominate in height, and distinctively majestic.

Eyes of penguins are extremely sensitive. Sudden intense light rays or flash lights falling on their eyes, usually disorient these birds causing blindness. All conservationists are particularly educating the people around the world about this fatal fact to save protect the species from human act.

Australia and New Zealand, apart from 

Antarctic region, are the naturally habitable countries for the penguin colonies. A number of organizations in Australia are engaged in funding the research on conservation and well being of these unusual birds, the penguin species.
